Why is the 3rd elimination 2 days later and will force them to race in the final 5 days later?  If I’m reading that right, that’s one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen!

Horses used to race two or three times in one day. This is no big deal.

Has to be the first time ever without a double header Saturday? Less & less horses around, compounded year over year, short fields, depleted stakes program etc. Too bad because it’s one of a select few venues that promotes racing!

Double header on gold cup day on August 17. If my memory is correct, the only double header in the last few years has been gold cup final day.

I live in New England and it's going to be a 10 hour 35 minute drive for me.  With layovers, a plane ride from Boston was going to take the same amount of time.
