Mohawk Canada Day
« on: July 01, 2024, 08:55:38 AM »
Race#6-#5 ALL BETS ON RED 4-1 ML Sneaky good mile last week, big back half off the pace, same prospect horses in here tonight, Dirty Lou will probably be 2-5 , that’s a bet against.

Race#8-#5 BETTOR B SERIOUS 4-1 ML Troubled trip last time out, still gained a pile of ground. Outside horse will be bet off the board, he’s a solid play against in here. Henry should try to fire off the wings, horse is best when driven with a purpose.

Race#10-#5 MOMAS SON BYRNE 5-1 ML Got a kinked neck last start out, absolutely tortured. See him rebounding in here at inflated odds. Never know what you’re going to get with Drury driving but he helps to inflate the price.

Best of luck! tmbz1

Race#1 #6 GHOSTLY CASPER 5-2 ML  been on my "watch list" since May 5th.  Finally time to cash?
Race#1 #7 TACTICAL STRIKE 3-1 On a roll.  Logical addition to pick-5.

Race#2 #7 WALLACE HARTLEY 7-2 Well intended and raced big.  Beaten favorite should be tighter and make amends.

Race#3 #8 REACTOR NOW A 3-1 Braved up at Grand River.  Returns to Mohawk ready.

Race #4 #6 ROCKME ROLLME 3-1 Beat better than these in April.  Hits rock bottom.  These kind win often.

Race #5 Both #4 and #6 looked great winning Grassroots events last time out.  Both have solid drivers and trainers.  The question is how are these guys going to be prepped and used in this "fill-in" race between stakes starts?

Race #7 #5 DERF HANOVER 3-1  Should crush this field.  No price but some nights you gotta take what they give you.

Race # 10 #5 MOMAS SON BYRNE 5-1  I fully expect this guy to be favored in here.  Best effort beats these.

I apologize for taking so many favotites.  Nobody likes to beat the chalks more than I do.  The last time I posted both of my selections won at a respectable 5-2.

Good luck everyone!

Every driver in the open trot at Mohawk tonight should be fined

lined up 1/16 of a mile after the start, 3/4 in 1:25.3

what a fucking joke of an open trot racing for 36K (C)

Reactor Now needs the B tracks or a long layoff.  Absolutely burns money Woodbine Mohawk.  I predict he will not win there. He is just not any good right now.

Short fields in the open trotter with barely any who can leave makes those races a hard no to bet or even watch honestly. With that being said, if they’re going to lollygag the fractions, don’t write the class for a few weeks…

  • Trigger: Nicer beached than here but pummeled too much by storms there took its toll.  Stay bewteen Boca and Pompano Beach, English speaking, not as congested, within a couple blocks of a1a you're golden.
