I’m not a great handicapper, but can cash a ticket now and then.  Give me a horse/trainer/driver who is second or third 17 out of 19 and you better believe I can figure a way to make money in the exactas and trifectas.  Geez, don’t even have to waste money playing him on top. Would much rather have someone that shows me by their consistency that they want to be on the board than someone who will win in 52 one week and is nowhere to be found in 54 off the same half the next week.  Yes I understand the horsemen want him to move through the condition but if he’s giving me free money through the window, what’s a guy to do ;D

Nap could've won in 53 and change with that thing today. Your post about him shaking the lines was a joke correct? Watch the replay in
slow motion, he was tight lined and the whip was tucked away. He's lucky that's all he got. He screwed the public

Ray was lucky former driver Jim Marshall is the judge at Chester now. Not only did they both drive together for years, but Jimmy got a big heart and cut Ray some slack. He also knows Ray's history of this.

Bad cal, the man lost by a whisker.  He isn't good enough to measure that close.

100% correct, plus he has half a hand from the snowblower incident.

The judges actually did Baynes a favor with the suspension.  The $5,000 fine will quickly be paid for with all the money his horses make during his time on the sidelines. Ahle just won at Chester with Sandradimples at 33/1 and takes two seconds off his lifetime mark.

The money never hurts. But, ray has known for 40 years he was not a competitive driver. If he wanted to maximize his earnings, he would have used catch drivers years ago.

I remember in the early 90's at Yonkers he drove one of those Brickyard horses every week and he always looked loaded with pace and I swear the other drivers in the race used to fuck with him on purpose.
