How much money actually came out of the Hoosier Park---
« on: June 21, 2024, 01:21:39 AM »
Purse account for their races on Thursday 6-20-24?

You had quite a few fair races on the card where the SDBF (breeders fund actually put up 90% of the purse money raced for)!  Approximately 3800 dollars of the 4200 dollar purse!

Since very little was taken out of the purse account, is there an increase in purses coming up in the immediate future?

Please tell me you don’t seriously think they race for purse money generated on the last card of races.

Hoosier is very comparable to Hawthorne.  Tough place to race and only track I know where when you pace 50 - 51 you get $700-$1000.

Lower classes very comparable to Hawthorne purses. Stakes are good I agree. But the other night was all fair races for $4200 and nobody was betting that crap. Last night they had four winners pay between $2.20-$2.80. It’s become non beatable.
