Great night of racing and a good crowd at Mohawk. I few things I took away.
-Casie was dressed to the 9's
- Bettors Delight is the best racehorse sire of all time regardless of breed or gait
- Highland Kismet is going to make some noise in the 3 yr old ranks, he has a ways to go before he is in Karls league but he is well on his way. Going to be exciting to watch.
- The aged horse division is wide open this year. There is no Bulldog or Tattoo Artist type. I don't even think you could name a top 5. There are probably 10 or more that could win any of the big ones.
- James MD and LP Roy are is good drivers as there are anywhere. Bob McClure is also right up there
- Hard to believe GooGoo GaaGaa could not get support and was exported. Now top sire in Sweden breeding 200 mares annually he could have been on of the great trotting sires here.
- Its a deep group of open mares but Twin B JoeFresh seems to be a step above everyone. If she stays sound and healthy she will make a good chunk of money the next couple of years and will be one of the all time greats.
- $12.50 for a beer is nuts (although I bought them) You are going to get my money anyway, You can at least make it seem you are trying to respect the customer instead of constantly trying to f__k them.
