Kid can drive.   Leave the worn out Otten girl alone and focus on your career.  Big future if he keeps thinking with the right head.

The sister is the worn out Otten, not Justin's girlfriend.

What a woke suspension. He was being human. His horse was a loser at the time he tossed the whip. No harm to the result, horses or anyone else. For me is showed frustration with a horse that was not responding and it was a spur of the moment decision. Showed me a desire to win

Bello, your point is reasonable, but it’s still bad optics. He could have waited till the finish line. I am sure it didn’t change the outcome, but still…

I hear you. I had his horse in that race and it was a lazy horse. Justin did his best trying to motivate him. I felt his frustration when he realized there was no more he could do to get him to move forward. Agree, no excuse for the behavior, but a pretty big fine for a harmless infraction.

Agree.  Find the best people in the business, not the most fun, and find a few people outside the business to give perspective, and he will have an amazing career.

To answer my own question, I just learned from a friend of Pierce, that the judges reprimanded Pierce but did not fine nor suspend him.

Billy Davis Jr listed to drive Boss Baby Saturday, should be interesting. But with the slow half she got last time, no wonder Irvine got frustrated.
