Caitlin Clark will be bullied in the WNBA because she is straight and catholic. That’s a guarantee.

VERY few will see it or care if indeed it happens, though I think they'll protect her to an extent. Ever watch a WNBA game?

I don't care what color she is but give props to number 24 on Iowa, Owl Eyes Gabbie Marshall. She handled the buckets bitch from Uconn well, and I mean just look at her.  Remember the song Chantilly Lace ?  "Ain't nothin in the world like a big eyed girl"

She is not particularly attractive. I don't remember anything in Big Bopper's song that said big eyed girl with giant black rings around her eyes. The eyes are normal size, but the black rings give the illusion of big eyes.

My wife made me go to a few back twenty years ago but it was at the Sun Casino so at least there was something to do.  Actually was in the same elevator that the 7 foot Polish girl who played was.  Damn she was tall.

And yet it took a white girl from Iowa for the women's game to get ANY FUCKING EXPOSURE CALHOUN....and next year when the ratings go back in the shitter because Clark is gone they will all start crying again for equal coverage and exposure...what's funny is you make fun of the white girls yet half the blacks can't help but wanna look like them with all their fake hair they have sewed in. Face it the white girl did something all the blacks could never do and that's make people watch.

Having played at the college level myself I was quite impressed by Clark's passing and shooting abilities. Especially shooting at that distance with so much defensive pressure. She is special.

I'm very happy for Caitlin Clark. She changed the sport and took it to a higher level of popularity.  Not many do that. Woods did it. Serena did it. Clark can, should and most surely will capitalize fully and get as many endorsement and off-court deals as she possibly can. The WNBA max salary of $242,000 alone obviously will not create substantial/generational wealth.

Your other, racial tinged commentary isn't worth responding to, is it? You're just taking a shot at black women because you can. And because that's what your Daddy taught you.

I agree with you that her offensive passing and shooting skills are excellent.

On the other hand, she's not especially fast and it remains to be seen if she's going to be able to do more than play the perimeter against WNBA pros.

One thing I'm fairly certain of is that she will be a huge defensive liability. Whoever she's guarding will be doing layup drills.

Agree, her offensive skills are her strong point. Haven't watch any WNBA or NBA for a while but if it's still like it use to be defensive skills don't matter anyhow. I think she can hold her own on the perimeter and just stay away from the inside.

  • dougie: No tournament play there. Two many young cowboys bullying us old guys. Just straight poker. A lot of fun, but you could get hurt if you don't know the players.

  • Trigger: When I refer to cash game I'm thinking non tourn or sit n go, casinos I've played in never let you play for cash only chips but technically a ring game is a cash game too.

  • dougie: Private games are cash only. But the table uses chips to cause no confusion. Buy-in it $1G with 2 other buy in allowed. It is strictly Texas Holdem. Is is no limit but most of the players know each other. No kids playing. I'd say the average age was about 40. Food is included. Usually subs and pizza. Occasionally Chinese food.

  • dougie: We had 8 tables going and the 1G prize is every hour. Todays game is the third private game I ever played. I starting to enjoy private games.

  • Trigger: How many tables partake in the 1g prize and is it 30m or an hour?
