When you bribe a fed ex driver so that you can switch your previous night urine samples on the way to the state lab,I think you pretty much screwed yourself! GOT RAILROADED???LMGDFAO! The samples that were intercepted were from the 62&81 dollar winners the night before and Bob drove them! To go thru all of that James Bond shit, that had to be something special in those sample! 11.wp tmbz1 ngc3

Gee good old Bob Belcher......... Lets see "swim to win"........ This sad story started with Robert Inman many years ago and his use of synthetic drugs....... He was caught, tried to bribe the Fed-Ex driver to get the 2nd sample when it was being shipped....... John Marshall who was GM at the Meadows at the time got involved......... .. This is when Big Bob Belcher got involved and the stable shipped to Nfld....... Another student under Robert's tutelage was non other than Marcus Marashian........ ...... When the Belcher's (Jenny and Bob) got caught the operation was then turned over to Marcus........... One of the presiding judges at the time tried to protect Robert, why............ The judge owned thoroughbreds that raced at Mountaineer and Thistledown, pretty sure his name was Blackhurst....... ...... The same Blackhurst that protected "honest Bill" Bercury for a long time............. The Belchers had a lab in their basement and used retired racehorses as test cases on their farm............ Another interesting party involved with the Belcher's was none other than Walter Case........... Walter worked at Belcher's farm for a long time............ More to the story, but that's the basics........... .....
Just love doing the broadcast. Shuley, Chumlee, Paddock have gotten used to the holier than thou attitude. We only work on the show, because we get paid. Dealing with Ringo is a different story.

Could not have said it better, about the Belcher, Inman and Marcus saga. (Where's Marcus? how many 2nd chances?) I don't know anything about the Bercury and Blackhurst part. I thought most of the judges there were way to close with trainers and drivers. Announcer was a loud mouthed hound, Trish doing the paddock interviews, soliciting info all night. Leasure a complete miserable asshole, his wife had a feed business for a while. Right out of the race office. Place was a cess pool

Marcus is driving Fed Ex or UPS after getting an Epogen positive last year. (Not sure if the UPS/fedex thing is true but the epogen positive is true)

Bercury was friends Inman for a lot of years but they had a falling out. Bill could probably tell you more, I never heard any details beyond they are on the outs. But thats all 3rd or 4th hand.

Seems like the MSOA has been trying to clean out the cesspool out though,

Northfield is the easiest track to race at in the US. It's like the new raceway park, a place to send your slow horses and a place for young drivers to actually get some drives. Good and bad it works for some but the trainers with the talent and good owners race for Good money else where.

Didn't Inman subsequently switch to Thoroughbreds? I seem to remember him racing some at Mountaineer as some point.

I’m told he was buying estate items and reselling it. Place was stuffed with junk and somehow he got in big trouble with that too.
