You still need the following:

A very fast horse week in and week out
Good post position draws
Good driver week in and weeks out.

What's missing for them to handle like a BIG track ?

1) Better start time than 400p

2) Be a mile track

3)  add if you think of others.

Start time. If the Meadowlands raced at 4:00. there handle would be a fraction of what it is now.  Does Miami Valley have lights to have the ability to race at night

Can't have it both ways. People bitch, perhaps rightfully so, about their handle. Going up against weekend cards, especially T-breds is only going to worsen that.

Looks like Pocono and Chester 15 years ago. Only a matter of time till the new wears off the casinos and the purses come down with the slot revenue

THEY DO NOT RACE ON FRIDAY OR SATURDAY

Prime days where people can feed the machines and know that racing doesn’t exist.
