IZZY ESTRADA
« on: March 07, 2024, 12:47:37 PM »
Are the judges. Racing commissions. Race offices.  This stupid.   You can just win every race and there is no RED FLAG.  Really the water in his barn is just better than everyone else’s.

Question his connections with others in Central NJ. Watch them too who are operating smaller and under the radar. And M1 is aware of it. But has no choice or they could never fill a card.

Something must have changed because he bought a filly pacer from me last September, and it took her 8 races to finally win in the bottom class at Freehold.

Doesn't work with all of them. Forgot the mare but Banca paid big money for a serious mare and ruined her.

While I am absolutely anti-beards, and I feel the industry has done a poor job to solve this problem -- I am just curious -- you think this is prevalent to the extent that if Gural banned every single known beard, they couldn't fill a card? Look, I say throw them all out. Without a stable area on-track, governance becomes much harder. But if you shut down your stable area, then that's the price you pay. So, throw them all out. However, I don't think it becomes impossible to fill a card.

Back in the day, this info was osted on the program.
We knew Ben Steall and Bones Vaughn were traing for Billy Haughton (RIP)
C. Carr for Lee Broglio
and so on and so forth.
Its not a perfect analogy because Haughton wasn't suspended, for example.
But it is better than nothing--at least it could denote a relationship.....

The sport will never be cleaned up. If it was only a few tracks would be racing because there wouldn't be enough horses to fill the cards.

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.
