Making a break at Mohawk
« on: February 15, 2024, 08:17:20 PM »
should you just pull up and go back to the barn if you go off stride at Mohawk?

you can lose ground, get away last gapped from the rail, and still get dq'd

WTF?

I didn't see the race you're talking about? (date & race #???)

But I believe they have a rule that you can be DQd for an extended break? (like 30 strides?)

i just think that the first rule in a trotting race should be to stay hmmm , TROTTING!!

impressive recovery though
but you should be able to trot an entire mile to win a trotting race

Who picked the number..25?
Was there a science behind it?
Why not 20, or 30, or even 1, or infinity?
Stupid rule
