Northfield Pothole
« on: February 02, 2024, 06:09:49 PM »
Due to a small area of the track surface that is still unsuitable for racing,
MGM Northfield Park must cancel both live racing and qualifiers for Saturday.

Time to call in someone who has a clue what they are doing.

Monticello used to get a pothole around the far turn when the weather started warming around March and the put up orange cones so the drivers would drive around the pothole.

One race Tony Giovanelli took a shortcut a shortcut inside the cones and won. And yes he got DQed

Someone with a little time to kill could look at the past history and see who's horse laid on this spot and allowed the toxic concoction to eat away the earth! ngc3

More like the Northfield SINK HOLE. Probably an underground tunnel collapse once used for trafficking.

looks like the warm weather, track thawing has caused this hole to re-surface

the resurfacing project really screwed up the home of the flying turns

Why?

They raced a couple of weeks ago with the track condition listed as "FROZEN"!  Quite a few people said that they shouldn't have raced over that surface!

And everyone is concerned about the thawing now?

SERIOUSLY!!
