Brett Miller's Amazing Thursday Night at MVR
« on: January 28, 2024, 01:07:29 AM »
Brett won 7 races, finished 2nd in another race and finished 3rd three times!!

The win prices on his horses were: $20.40, $10.60, $7.40, $6.40, $6.20, $3.00 and $2.40

He finished 2nd with a 27-1 shot

He finished 3rd with 19-1, 8-1 and 2-1

Quite the night and having watched them all afterwards, some very impressive drives.

Definitely one of the top drivers on the Ohio circuit. He has the ability to work out the best trip for the horse and get the most out of them.

Did Miller leave the Meadowlands because he wasn’t good enough or did he just miss his roots?

I think it was the Ohio slot purses and less competition.

Didn't like all the traveling for the GC and he rather win 3-4 a night than make more money.

I don't know of any Midwestern people who leave their home to live in NJ for any other reasons than money and opportunity. Once they can get that level of satisfaction at home, most return.

I think Brett miller is the best driver in ohio. Getting a lil older settling down with age but good for him. Dude won a lot of races at northfiled back in the day. Super good guy too!  He went head to head with wally world nightly. He held his own very well against Walter.
I would also argue he is better than alot of these east coast drivers.  Better than most I should say.

  • dougie: Kirby's Ace, I used to like going to Key West 40 years ago. It has become so crowded with tourists. I'm heading down in late March and i'm staying for a week at the Boca Raton Hotel. It's nice and pretty close to my family and friends.
