Earlier this year, I saw a ruling was posted where a thoroughbred that Monte owned (Daufuskie Island or something like that), trained by Charlton Baker, came up positive for Flunixin at Aqueduct. Baker shoots about 20% lifetime. The horse was claimed, the claim was voided, and  the horse then twice went unplaced in two allowance starts.

  • Sweet: The fact of the matter is the win pool on Beau Jangles was I believe a negative pool,  his real odds not 1/9 but 1/99.  Enough already, we're the real patrons of thius F'ing sport, many of us also care for these animals despite the best don't want drugs and whipping, abuse.  Competition yes!

  • Lockedin with Pace: Robust Hanover was a very small horse driven by William O'Donnell. In fact the late Stan Bergstein used to refer to him as the "little peanut".
