Walter Case

If Case was such a talent, shouldn't he be doing better than he is? How can this supposed legend not even be top 5 in fucking Maine?

He's 60 yo or so?

Probably a case of Father Time.

At first, I thought the same thing but the leader up there in Maine is Bruce Ranger and he is older than Case. You then have guys like Hennessey and Dave Miller who are as old or older and they are doing fine. My buddy says it was the coke. Without it, he was average. Who the fuck knows.

He does not go for the lead that much there and when he does he gets his wins but I would have thought he could dominate there, even now.

David Miller (born December 10, 1964) is an American harness racing driver and trainer. He is 58 and will turn 59 next month.

Case does NOT lean back any longer either in the sulky like he did in his heydays at Yonkers. He looks more like the 1960s-1970s drivers in the bike now.

Like a lot of 'GREAT'[He 'WAS' one] athletes [yes, I feel they're athletes] they stick around too long. Most out of vanity. In his 'case'[pardon the pun] I think it's more out of necessity.
