Marohn's horse stumbled badly and then everything went from there.  His horse got run over pretty badly.. but may have been injured without that as he was going down from the stumble.
They were all midway to coming out of the first turn going gangbusters for positions, which made it worse than if it were on the straightaway with everyone in line etc.

Dinozzi really took it badly.

Horrible to see and certainly have fingers crossed that he and Buter come out of this, over time, OK and that all of the horses survive (although Marohn's horse really took some hits.)

From what I've heard from reliable sources all horses walked off under own power.

From Joe Faraldo FB

Horrible when these accidents occur and thank God they are rare.

The update on the drivers - Marohn, Jr. broken forearms and thumb - surgery to repair broken bones maybe done  today. Tyler Buter broken ribs and collar bone, some back pain unknown at this time ; Bob Di Nozzi broken ribs. Special K was very lucky  to have escaped any serious injury.

So the posted about dinozzi n buter in serious critical was incorrect. A post indicated that.
