Update:
On November 9, 2023, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Boyd H. Fenton, age 32 of Athens, P.A. after a fire at a barn structure at the Tioga Downs Casino complex.  Over two-dozen racehorses died in the fire.

So what's the real story ? Doubt it's just a random guy who lives near the border of New York travels to the racetrack and randomly selects a barn to set afire.

With deep sadness my trainer and friend Lee Morris lost all of his horses and equipment. I personally lost my horse It’s Rigged and my close friend Tom Reynolds lost his horse SD watch me mow. We along with the others who lost horses are carrying heavy hearts. This is any horseman’s true nightmare.  Thanks for the support of our fellow horsemen which we need and appreciate.

My sincerest condolences for you and your friends' loss.

From what I've heard (not proven fact yet)  he was thrown out of the casino for some reason or another and the angry piece of walking shit he is lit a barn on fire in retaliation

 I cried after seeing what humans are capable of-like this POS at Tioga.

This excuse for a human being--should get the chair for his actions---burning innocent animals is a crime that is unconceivable and depraved--doesn't deserve to breathe air.

As for Surick--not only did he "get rid of" 6 horses--he also abused them by drugging them -thereby cheating fellow horsemen, gamblers and owners--lucky I'm not a judge because he wouldn't be out of jail till he was an old man.
