He has a name on there. The poor woman passed away 2 years ago. Another, has not raced a horse in 3 years. Tighten it up, Jeffery.

Steve, are you referring to Cynthia?

You're not Steve? You've been posting the same as he has on FB, right after he does. Sorry if I'm wrong

Essentially the same information, different publication.

Feel free to delete my duplicate post that is a "new topic."

Everyone needs someone or something to blame. He won't tell you that KY has taken the best of the crop, or that consigners who sell at both are preferring and front-loading KY, or that the KY attracts more money. Blue Chip doesn't have the product to sell at KY. It's not their marketplace. They have been relegated to a "local" marketplace and buyer. The marketplace, and Blue Chip, has changed drastically since the Kimmelman family and Bill Brown was in charge. Look at Blue Chip's stature in the industry back in the 70's and 80's when Bill Brown ran the show, compared to after Mike sold the farm.

Lexington sale will get stronger and stronger as we see more dual eligible yearlings offered. Harrisburg will become a regional sale of horses that don’t have the looks or breeding to be selected at Lexington.  On the other hand, Harrisburgs mixed sale will grow .  Yesterdays sale was riddled with withdrawn and no sale yearlings.  Many more than appeared in the results.

ongait has really hurt sales with horses currently racing. It's wiped out the Meadowlands sales which used to be very popular. The same is happening with Harrisburg. It's getting weaker and weaker every year.

Agent fees and commissions are putting the mixed sales of race horses at Harrisburg out of business.

Dont forget waiting till Mid December to get your consignment check from Harrisburg. All other sales are 10 days or less, and Hoosier Classic cuts you a check for 50% or more same day.
