again, Fraser doesnt lose a penny unless the wager is made on track

the venue where the bet is placed takes the hit for the minus pool-whatever ADW is used

This seems strange. If the bet is placed with an ADW, don’t they pass it off to the track?  If not I shouldn’t show in the pools.

the money goes into the pools. but the venue where the bet was made must pay for the minus pool

this all began around 2001 when " net pool pricing" went into effect

before that happened--you would see all three horses pay $2.10 to show--and much bigger blowups than todays game-nowadays some longshots pay $4 to show or more to show if the heavy fave hit the board-- however this prevents the larger blowups

Kassa Branca was a famous huge one at Freehold--he blew up twice big time--once at Freehold and later that year at Garden St

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
