Hip 60 was bought back for $200,000 by Blue Chip farms?  Are they nuts? How much do they think they will get?

Andy Miller bought him, He trained the colts dam Designed to Be.  So having a half brother to Greenshoe for 150 seems reasonable.

This dam was another Miller trainee Seviyorum who earned a lot of money.  Maybe they want to race her?

sellers frequently bid on their own and may get stuck owning them

they either max out their sales or risk racing them OR may not have wished to sell the yearling in the auction ring and were just pricing the yearling for its new partners in racing the horse

Watch at registration time Gural or a Gural entity will be partnered on one or all of these.

I love Tall Dark Stranger. I predict huge success for him as a sire. This sale is for elite owners. Very hard for the average owner to come away with something. Of course, anything is possible. I think you get more bang for your buck at Harrisburg.
. I predict Tall Dark Stranger will be a flop.  He was horse that Yannick had to pound on to go and the biggest factor: He's a Bettor's Delight.  No son of Bettor's Delight has made a stallion worth a damn.

if tds is a flop it will be one of the biggest ever given the mares he has gotten
one thing in his favor is he has a strong maternal family, i know some dont feel that is relevant but his pedigree is top notch which cant hurt
sold 19 at an average of $144 k which is not bad

Bettors  Wish,  Lazarus,  Bit Of A Legend  are doing well as sires . All sons of Bettors Delight

Betters Wish only had a crop of 39 so even with his one good one it remains to be seen. Voukefelas is the only real fast Lazarus and Bit of a Legend has not produced anything of substance yet.  It's the same with All Bets Off,  no commercial success although he did sire that freak Burke filly Pass Line.

First year for bettors wish and legend .   Raced at the fairs with alot of the legends . Betting line isn't the worst .  Its a total crap shoot with studs . You never know , usually  show their worth within a few years
