I believe he also trained at the meadowlands.  He was short with gray hair?

I used to bet a horse of his named Prime Almahurst. He would beat the 15ks at Yr and RR. 1986  At the time it was his only horse. That part was sad.

Top catch driver back at Monti in the 70s. Drove a lot of horses I rubbed back then. I believe his colors were red and black. I remember he had this contraption in his car (a pully system) to strengthen his forearms. Slight guy, much like the drivers of today.

Was strung out in an Albany suburb.

I never considered him one of their top catch drivers. Early to mid 70s betting there as a kid, i did better with Ronnie Ingrassia, Joe Ricco jr, Joe Rmano jr, Jimmy Allen, Johhny Desimone
