Sabot came from CA with him. Lappe been with Kookinos for 20 years. We always laughed at Hawthorne when they called over backstretch speaker for him. Always sounded like they said Boy Genius. And he thought he was

I'm telling you guys that he is a USTA golden guy! Here's my prediction for the results of this incident provided the details on the incident were accurate. . Why take a feed bucket of the detention to your trailer and sprinkle some white powder on it and bring it back in and feed it?  Even if it was nothing at all he knows the rules.  Why risk it for vitamins or supplements?  What ever it was it was extremely important for that horse to get it that's for sure.  Like you said, he's no idiot so he knew exactly what he was doing and he was bold enough to take the risk.
