Driver of the Year
« on: September 21, 2023, 08:19:31 AM »
Seems like every season we have that 'guy' who just happens to win a lot of the big races... Maybe it's because they are associated with a super hot stable like Burke, Tatker, etc.

But Dexter seem to win everything last year. Scott Z is the major player this year.

No votes for Aaron Merriman and his 625 wins.
139 wins ahead of the 2nd place guy.
24 races today in his backyard and he has 4 drives.  ngc3 ngc3

The cowboy style of driving is detrimental to the development of young horses learning how to race.

My driver of the year is the one that gives me the best betting profits for the year. Unfortunately no one qualifies this year.  11.wp

I would say it's between Zeron and Tetrick for DOY.  Right now Zeron has more major wins but there is still a lot of racing to go.

Scotty Z came back from a serious racing accident and had a great year. Some thought he was headed back to Canada when things were slow. They were wrong.

Made this post after Zeron won the Juggette -- add the Jug to his resume for the year. Also NA Cup and the Hambo.

Scotty Z. just wrapped the title up. Another choice would be fraudulent in my book!
