What YR has spiraled into makes me sick to my stomach. it so unwatchable, so unbettable and so infested with cheats and scumbags at the trainer level. Short fields, terrible value and the most boring racing anywhere. Give me Monti, all day every day.

I agree, with all the money they have they should have the most competitive full fields in the business. Instead we get 5 and 6 horse fields and have to guess whos trying this week. And how do they reward the people that do wager on them, by turning their pick 5 into a $5 minimum bet. Stupid assholes

there dumbass idea started with not paying 4 of 5
why would i bet longshots and have 2 40 to 1s and have the only 4 of 5 ticket and miss 1 leg and get the same exact thing as everyone who got NO winners....4 of 5 should get 25 percent and they carryover 75 percent instead of 100 percent carrovery and giving nothing to 4 of 5 is silly it discourages spread tickets

Raced horses there spanning 3 decades. I lived, ate and breathed the place and it is all gone. ( Roosevelt too, of course ) People racing there at the trainer level no one will take. Drivers getting rich on ridiculously inflated purses. Good for them. NOT!

I also agree, 4 of 5 or 3 of 4 should get you something. Im not saying pay the entire pool but like you said 25%.

Only bet a handicapper would reasonably bet at yankers was  a p5.  ngc3

Ive said it before, mgm imho might be interested in a quicker demise to jonkers racing than some realize. Hard to assume anything less.

Wasnt missed when it shut down in failure not too long ago and wont be missed when the management closes it down again.

i have nothing against any of them personally, but when I see Joey B, Jordan S, Matt K, Jason B, Brent H., race after race after race, I want to throw up. George Brennan is in a different class. Great guy/world class driver. Belongs in the HOF.

Absolutely right.

You want to take a 25% clip when you are correct going 5 for 5? I don't understand why bettors want consos

It's only for this week. They are looking for a big carryover on Saturday afternoon. They added $15,000 to jump start it. It will be a mandatory payout on Saturday.

We used to go to RR many decades ago for the Int’l Trot. What an event before 30,000+ fans. This Saturday if Yonkers gets 1,000 fans for the big day they will be thrilled. Unfortunately they may only have a few tellers and the lines to bet will be loooong.
