Thursday Live Monticello analysis

Race 1

5   Ys sunshine....gets a huge class jump here after beating a bunch of awful horses at 10 cents last week.Typically a toss. But 2 big changes took place. Trainer change from Regina to Shane Taggert and upgrade to J Taggert.

Should be leaving

2 Well Done Son...likely big fave and likely winner...BUT trainer does not win often and can break you with his favorites
3 winning is sweet...should be leaving and main foe, especially if the fave falters

Race 4   I could not separate 124

1 Astor  No shot last ...will improve from rail and Aldrich helps
2 Life in Color...managed nicely for this class finds a tough nw 200 field
4 Carters Caper...also gets his class relief off a tough trip last

I just cannot bet anything the Ricco clan is involved in. Old Mont and Yonkers fans should know what I am referring to.
