He was 2-5 race 1 at Pocono. Problem is Boyd cannot finish. I sure the barn lost big time. Gave me a $48 dd

Why is Dowse still allowed to train?

Maybe I actually jumped the gun on my comments. I recall the accusations he was a beard for Marks.

Was that indeed true? I think it was a Schintker (sp) accusation.

And he came from the hotbed of juicers in Orange County NY.

And hr works miracles on the track.

Where there is smoke...there is Mr. Marks.

If not the case and he is a super trainer...I stand corrected.

Just like Pena thrown out with NO/ ZERO positives...   Even if he was connected with Josh, Gareth was doing the work

Brief summary of Dowse please feel free to add anything you might know

He worked for Schnittiker then went on his own and got big clients like Howard Taylor, Ken Jacobs, The Lyons Brothers and Blue Chip.  He was very successful with a huge win percentage.

One day early summer in 2019 I believe,  Josh Marks was on the rail at Pocono screaming obscenities at Schnittiker who had just won a race.  He threatened Ray and had the police called on him.  The next day all of the four owners and others pulled all their horses from Dowse as it was alleged that Marks was behind him. Blue Chip sold a top 3 year old trotting filly and World Champ Lyons Sentinel was a two year old who was just starting her winning ways, went to King.

Dowse disappeared and resurfaced at Yonkers last year, started winning at 40% again and was asked to leave.  Now he's back at varied tracks in a limited capacity and apparently still winning when he wants to.

I don't recall any positives either.

Just because you know what and when to use that potion, doesn't mean that it is always available to obtain! That's the kind of pre race that you watch for the delivery company instead of the vet! 11.wp 8) 8)
