Jimmy Takter has cancer?

In 2019 he had a spinal cord tumor, but he stated that the doctors did not think it was malignant and that instead of surgery they would treat it with dexamethasone.  In 2020 he embarked on a new venture, acting as a "wingman" for Phil Antonacci, who was starting a stable of standardbreds.  He has looked healthy and drive sporadically in qualifiers and even in actual races the past few years (just a handful).  Have not heard anything more.

Lindy Farms has expanded its operation to include Thorobreds now. Phil is the trainer. They have had a  great start at the STg meet. I think they even recently built a state of the art thorobred training track at their Conn home base.

they have had TB's for years. Phil went to Dubai to the Sheiks apprentice ship program for TB Trainers.
