Cody's Wish got hit between the eyes with the 1/8th pole. He needs to stick to sprinting

I agree, racing terrible this year. Short fields for stake races. Yesterday's card was about the worst I have ever seen. Irad doing whatever he wants on the racetrack with impunity.  He is going to get someone hurt.

The SPA has been well lets say a bit off this year. some of the races they're writing are head scratchers.

Saratoga used to be called the Graveyard for Favorites. Nowadays why waste words….today is just The Graveyard.

Saratoga was never called the graveyard of favorites

it was labeled graveyard of champions because Onion beat Secretariat and Upset beat Man O War there.

  • dougie: Trigger, I enjoyed the "winter Capital Of Harness Racing" at goo d old Pompano Park. Was a shame they closed it. I was there at least 2 nights a week. I'm old enough to remember quster horse racing there. A lot of cowboy hats and Frye boots. LOL!
