2005 Hambo
« on: August 05, 2023, 06:46:45 AM »
Not the fastest ever, not the strongest field ever, but something about Roger Hammer and VIVID PHOTO sweeping off cover and storming down the middle of the track as Warkentin shouts "from the Pa. Fairs to the Hambletonian winner's circle' has stuck with me and still gives me a thrill.

Came into the Hambo with only 100k earned lifetime, then went on to race for many more years and earn over $3million. A great job of horsemanship by Roger Hammer

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
