With ALL his overhead for ALL the horses he trains, I wouldn't begin to comprehend how much he actually clears on 20 million the horses earned. Seeming that he only owns a percentage on most.

The $20 million is what the horse earns. Burke has a car sales background. Burke does not own any of the horses himself, they are all partnerships. Most likely Burke Racing is billing his training fee to each of the partnerships. Burke Racing would also get the training share of any money each horse earns and also his share as an owner of any of the money the horse earns. Even if the horses Burke Racing owns in partnership with others earn $0, Burke Racing is getting paid the percentage of the training fees for the ownership percentage of others.

The horses that are Burke/ (Weaver&Bushemi) are 50/50. Ronnie doesn't have a back ground in Car Sales ,that was his father, Mickey Sr. The Burke Stable is Ronnie and his mother, Sylvia, call the USTA. They have some horses that they aren't part owners of, like Donavan's. Ronnie gets the 5%, how it's split I got no idea. The overhead is amazing, they're doing ok. lol Most of the larger owners don't care they want to win races.

Ronnie never worked in the car business, the old man got out when he was a teen. Sylvia does the books. Ronnie has an unbelievable memory and a system. Weaver finds the horses and deals. They have a program to follow each of the horses. Mickey Sr was listed as trainer, Ronnie, Michelle and Mickey Jr worked their ass off. Jason Robinson was there for the start of the brigade. They all worked 18 hrs a day.
