Mohawk Monday
« on: July 17, 2023, 07:40:17 AM »
Loads of 2 year old trotting fillies grass roots (HARD PASS)

Here’s a couple I do like…

Race#8-#3 Twist Little Girl N 5-1 ML Looked impressive last week in first North American start, will get open road tonight & the training wheels will come off.

Race#10-#7 Macs Big Boy 4-1 ML Was purchased to be better than he’s showing since moving to Ontario. Can’t get in much lower at WEG, without having to take on basement dwellers at Georgian/Grand River. I’m looking for a huge effort here tonight.

Best of Luck  tmbz1

Macs big boy was sharp pick even though lost. Two cullen horses in last races (9th and 10th) were well intended.  Cullen got a little too aggressive; must have thought he had horsepower though. Mbb got a tough trip cost him race. Wonder if cullen barn loaded up wagering in 10th; even money on that horse sign was well intended. Drive a lot better in 10th.

  • dougie: Got chicken and bet $10WP onWP on Horacio De Paz'shorse who won at 8-1. I love the trainer, but was afraid of the layoff. Coming back strong with $20Win and $60 Place on #7Elegant in the 7th at the Spa.
