Best meet so far, if you like a five horse field with one trainer for four of the five, and the favorite is 1/5, and gets beat by one of the other horses for the trainer.  Just not my cup of tea.  But, I guess that this is what it has come down to in the t-bred game.

I'm not fond of those races either. I perfer full fields without a trainer having multiple horses in a race. I think this meet is the best in racing. They come from all over looking to get the winners share of those juicy purses. I pick my spots and watch the trainer/jockey angles.

The best? Certainly not for gambling purposes. 24% takeout for trifectas superfectas pick 3s pick 4 and carryover pick 6s is outrageously expensive to gamble there. Total rip off

Foe me it works out pretty well. I am strictly a WP/Exacta type of guy, and i've done well at "The Spa". I've noticed some Jockey/Trainer combos that i closely follow as well as some trainer 'moves" that i hve been watching for years. I'm very patient and can go a whole card without betting a buck. The best of the best are here as well as the biggest gamblers. So i "watch and wager" when i see value.

Well, he gets the best bred horses for the best owners, so yeah, I don't care for him, but maybe just jealous.  Whatever happened with the sexual assault thing last year?  Did it just go away?

That's a good question. I heard it was negotiated down to a domestic case. It was all over the papers and then is fell off the radar. I'm sure he has the best lawyers money can buy.

My first wager of the day at Saratoga. Race 9 i'm playing #6 Little Mombo (Bauer/Geroux). This is her first time on the turf and her Sire Into Mischief is a underrated turf sire. Her sire throws 14% winner from Turf Sprints and this 5/12 furlongs should suit this fast from the gate 4 year old. The bet: Perfecta wheel up and back $28 and $5WP. Totla Investment $38. Starting bankroll of $2500 sits at $2345 (-$155) Good luck to all!
