Looks like some owners/trainers might not have horses that go over 1/2 mile tracks.  They'll find other races to enter and make their money.

you cant race in them all
this is a watered down bunch for sure but to be expected when sandwiched between  the na cup and big m pace

I love half mile tracks. The bigger the track, the more boring the racing.

Sorry they don't drive the same way as 40+ years ago on 1/2 mile tracks.

Courtesy tucks are killing the game. Fine the drivers or license forfeiture.

10 horses in the final and they are going 1 1/16.   Although I don't think he has ever been on 1/2, Seven Colors was really solid in his Cup elimination at Woodbine.  They went to the 1/2 in .55 and came home in 53, and he pulled first over from 5th around the half, made up good ground in a 26:3 3rd quarter and held on nicely (although not qualifying for the final).

Maybe yes!  Maybe no!
Woodbine  June 17 Armbro Flight Final
McNair gives Dunn with Bella Bellini a courtesy tuck.
The McNair betters are mad as hell and scream "You Fool"
McNair follows Dunn every step and beats him at the wire.
The McNair betters scream"Great Drive".

Would McNair still have won if he didn't give the tuck?
IMHO no
Dunn would have most likely went on to the front and controlled the race and McNair would not be on Dunn's back but 5 lengths back.
I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.
