Stratton did very good considering he almost threaded a too tight last second needle and turned the horse into a pretzel to get 4th.
I thought he lost all chance and about 3 lengths with the decision to grab him up and look for a lane at the top of the stretch.  If he stays in, spots did open.
 Then again, if he stays in and gets jammed, he looks like a complete moron.
 If this horse gets a clear trip, he is as good as anyone in this group.

I would say the biggest mistake Stratton made was not protecting his position leaving out of there which caused him to be pushed down to the rail.
