Akins/Allard at Pocono 6/13
« on: June 14, 2023, 06:52:20 AM »
Last week, June 6, "Mark Akins" claimed TWO trotters for $25k @ at Pocono.  Is listed as owner and trainer.

June 13 Race 2: Allard opts off of #1 (Burke horse, ML favorite) and onto the first of the claimed horses, Crazycat.  Crazycat, 10 yo gelding, prior lifetime mark of 1:54, blazes to a 1:52:2 mile for fun.

June 13 Race 10: Allard opts off of #5 (classy French trotter who won the Game of Claims and has over $50k on his card) and drives the 2nd claimed horse, Nasey (who is fast, but breaks if used too roughly).  Nasey goes for the lead, is rebuffed and sits the pocket, comes up the inside and jogburgers home.

Simon is one of the top drivers in the world. You don't think he can prep one?

Damn. I missed 2 good betting opportunities. I have to pay attention.
Simon top driver in the world ? Bull shit. He wins with high octane gas only.
I agree with Fuguzzi. He belongs in jail as well.

Ty Superfecta and i dont say he belongs in jail lightly or to be a prick. It was "Team Allard" after all and I will not believe for a second there was one thing going on or that Rene was doing that Simon didn't know about. Top driver in the world   LOLOL   WE can ALL name 15 better right off the tips of our tongues.

Good eye Slew.  And the tracks just don't seem to care.  And I agree Simon the perv should be in jail for a range of things.

Tracks don’t care , commission don’t care, USTA is just about grabbing money.
Akins/ Allard is just a subjective guess as to their association but
what about Surrick wire taps talking with the Driver/ Trainer in Ohio admitting to giving EPO, or the Gudio wire taps.
I don’t think you realize no regulating agency car anymore.
You had on guy complaining about all the chemist trainers that there trainers couldn’t beat, his trainers are all above suspicion of course , so we take down the chemist trainers and pave the way for the others. The right trainers are winning now so everything clearly is above board, no need to look any further.
