Buffalo Raceway

The world famous Buffalo Raceway shit show is at it again! The track is so bad the NY Sire Stakes board is sending a team to inspect the track surface and more than likely cancel the Sire Stakes races scheduled for Buffalo. Saturday alone there were 4 horses that broke down. If that’s not enough the GM Jim Mango is in his last year of his contract and is refusing to leave! The fair board wants him gone the horsemen and horsemen’s reps want him gone NYS racing officials want him gone his own employees want him gone and the one and only Peter Kanter is counting down the days until he’s gone telling horsemen don’t celebrate yet until he’s dead and gone! If that’s not good enough 2 race office favorites just were informed they have positives for performance enhancing drugs! Mr. Clouser and Mr. Nappo wonderful job! It’s probably safe to say the Fair came early this year!

Track surface has been unsafe entire meet, multiple injuries to horses as well as first turn incidents. The  two mentioned trainers should be banded along with a few others.

Entire meet ?  Unsafe since being built. The first CORNER ,not at turn, is brutal. Could have been fixed but the built the new paddock too close. 
The surface is akin to the Thruway. Well, sometimes there is more cushion on the thruway.
Great for the brave as Buffalo is crossed off the list for many trainers of NYSS horses.

Haven't raced at Buffalo for 30 years. Batavia is waaaaaaay better

First turn used to be 10 times worse, they "fixed" it years ago (70's), made the other turn worse.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if memory serves me right, there was an issue at Buffalo with NYSS horses a few years ago,getting hurt

Buffalo Raceway is awful. Batavia Downs is way better.
