Where did Howard Parker drive at with this win?? I don't think he has raced in a few years. He was last driving at Vernon Downs a few years ago pretty consistently.

Northfield Park.

Thanks !!!!
I will have to check out his drives. Howard can bring in some big prices. He's #3 there without competing for a few years. After Aaron and Ronnie they all suck.

I wish other sports would exhume former participants.

Oh wait, I don't.  Only this silly assed pastime likes to see 100 year old people fail while most others embrace young and new.

And I look forward to the person with the high school shop diploma to reply...

"He's forgotten more than you'll ever know."

I only hope the people that think like that choose doctors the same way.

Happens in boxing too:  Michael Moorer vs. George Foreman, 11/5/94

I was in my mid 30's, and loved what I heard and learned from George Foreman before the fight, and in awe of him after, now being a little older than he was when he knocked out MM, he still remains an inspiration....ev en despite that fucking grill commercial!   ;D

Until they develop a pension for these drivers of yesteryear they will continue to resurface. Most people don't realize how fast 20-30 yrs. goes by until it's too late! When you work your entire life without contributing to  Social security, all you get is the minimum amount. Very few save or invest on their own.

In a blink!

Great point, each individual has their own story, one might come back because they're getting calls, and watching live racing and get the "ITCH", or like you said no formal education, no business acumen, and no savings of consequence, and no real desire to do anything else - and only lowly SS.   tmbz1
