Rosecroft
BIG purse deduction this week.
20-25%

when do tracks make these '$$ adjustments'?
monthly? quarterly?

Backstretch reaction?  Stay cool..calm..panic

You guys have been on both ends of these adjustments.

Is Maryland harness in a bad way?

Word in the paddock Tuesday night was that this is the last meet at Rosecroft.  Sad if true but it has been said before.

They have said that so many times already.  Ocean Downs just got approved to make several improvements...so not sure what the deal with MD racing is.

Ocean Downs is a lil cash cow with the casino. They won't dare mess with that one.

Rosecroft has always been the red headed stepchild that no one wants. And it will stay that way with no casino. Stronach doesn't want to be in the harness business without some sort of casino on property. Value is only the land but with the residential area it's been impossible to get approval for business development.

Cloverleaf, Maryland's harness horseman's representative is as useless as can be.
No mention of purse cuts on website but guess what "We're hiring!" They've been a joke for as long as I can remember and that's one reason Rosecroft is the way it is! Horsemen always getting sh!t on and Cloverleaf just collecting their dues! Without a on track casino, it's a dead game and just a matter of time!
