Private employers can do whatever they want!   I can have all the Rx I want, if my employer tests me, I'd be fired if I came up positive.
THE PRIVATE EMPLOYER BETTER HAVE A EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK STATING THAT EMPLOYEES ARE NOT ALLOW TO TAKE ANY PRESCIPTION DRUGS FOR THERE MEDICAL AILMENTS OR THEY WILL BE TERMINATED FOR IT. I JUST HAD THIS DISCUSSION WITH OUR FAMILY LAWYER WHO SAID THAT EMPLOYERS CANNOT DISCRIMATE AT ALL AND EXPLAINED IF I'M TERMINATED FOR TAKING MY PRESCRIBED DRUG AND I FOUND OUT THAT JOHN DOE IS TAKING HIS PRESCRIBED DRUG FOR DIABETES ITS AN IMMEDIATE DISCRIMINATION LAWSUIT.

That was stupid.  Maybe he should get an operation from a surgeon high on his "anxiety" medication.  See how that turns out.  Jobs tell you what can and can't be in your system upon hiring.  Diabetes medication and weed are a little different dummy!

Employers no longer need to give any reason for termination. They might fire you because the boss was in a bad mood that day, but they will never put that in writing. Employers can terminate you without just cause and there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it. Although most employers today are much more accepting of marijuana positive tests than they’ve ever been but again, they do not need a reason to fire you. I still terminate anyone at my company if I find out they are Jewish. I’ve always believed anyone who is Jewish needs to be teenaged immediately just for the mere fact of being a slimy Jew.

My mom told me once that I may be 1/4 Jewish because she was vacationing in Miami Beach back then & couldn't remember all the guy's religions. Maybe my employer knew more than I did! That would explain it.

If he’s Jewish sue the son of a bitch. He’s no good if he Jewish but if anything else he’s okay.
