Can you clear some things up. Did Yarock actually sustain some kind of injury from Ray?
If not it's just Harassment which is a criminal court summons no prints no mugshots. They would go before the a criminal judge and tell their stories. Then the racing commission would do whatever they do. Sounds like alot of nothing, basic life stuff.

In Delaware you can get charged with the lesser offense of offensive touching since he sustained no actual injuries.  That is unless SCM coaches him up to create some.  But as of now, no injuries have been mentioned.  There is however, another charge of assaulting someone over the age of 62 in Delaware.  Not sure if NJ is the same.  But because this may not been an assault, not sure that type of charge would apply.  Does sound like he'd have some grounds to file harassment charges, but that hasn't been mentioned either.  That could be due to it being an exchange of words rather than one sided.  Either way, it was stupid to put their hands on Dave.  Like to see Ray and SCM go at it.  They are a couple jerkoffs and we would all be winners if they both landed a few.

Just trying to clear up what's going on. Don't have a dog in this fight, but was in Law Enforcement for 25 years and been around Harness Racing my whole life. I know of all the parties involved and 100% Ray and Mark should never of done that to Dave Yarock. For people who represent Harness Racing to do that is mind boggling. One word of caution don't put all your eggs in one basket in Bryce Cody or Jeff Gural, you may be frustrated they way I see them handling this. Good Luck!

It's like this is the first fight at a track, NOT. There have been fights going on at tracks for ever. Testosterone gets flowing, mouths get running. somebody shoves some body and they get hit. Fine all of them! Yarock is just as culpable, don't ask if some body wants to go, and then bitch about it when he gets popped.

These guys are lucky it's not fifty years ago. If my memory is right they found a body in the trunk of a car in Yonkers parking lot. One of the top drivers got a very bad beating going to the track or coming home from the track. Times have changed.

I agree with all of you. It happens all the time. But if you get the authorities involved it changes things. May not be the best way to go about it but people make their own decisions and we live in a different world now.

You sure about that?? Really? A kill pen horse Ray and Ford had??? Bahahahaahahahaha hahaahah
Now pay attention moron....
The horse is Nowerland Nathan. A horse I helped Jimmy Nickerson with long ago when he was a hot four year old. I got along with him and calmed him down. Years later Yarock bought him for the amateur races. Older and two fingers. Last year he ended up in a kill pen, Dave rescued him. Two months ago he gave him to a home, lasted two days the horse took a chunk out of the new owner. Dave called ME, told me the story and when I heard it was Nathan I said bring him here immediately. The next day while Dave and I were in the field with the horses his phone rang. It was Ford, about ME. PISSED he was doing business with me. After two weeks of torturing, harassing and threatening the man I contacted TC Lane who got the word out and Ford backed off while a bunch of USTA directors called him asking "are you ok??". SO I ADOPTED NATHAN to really fuck with Ford. Ford even harassed Dave in the paddock waving a letter I send to the SBOANJ at him. Went so far as to call him multiple times saying he would send a truck and trailer to where I AM and take the horse to NEW HOLLAND TO HAVE KILLED and save him money. And then the other night I posted the phone call of Dave and I talking about all of it for all to hear, and Ford had his meltdown Friday night. So what does this mean???? YOU ARE A FUCKING LIAR AND HAD NO FUCKING CLUE THE HORSE YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT IS MINE YOU JACKOFF. NEXT!  ngc3

Quoting so everyone can see where you admit to adopting a horse to fuck with Ford instead of doing the responsible thing and finding him a real home.

A friend of mine is very good friends with Cote. He basically told him that the meadowlands did their due diligence and filled out a report and interviewed all parties and witnesses. Not much of a story except grown ass people carrying on like little bitches. That goes for EVERYONE involved. Cote also said the meadowlands can’t involved in any of this other than passing along their notes to the NJRC for a final disposition. Also Cote said that he told all people involved they have the right to file reports with the police and sue each other until the cows come home and the meadowlands will happily comply with a court order of any and all of their records and notes on the aforementioned incident. Now it’s up to the parties involved to file their respective lawsuits and let the respective jurisdictional courts decide. The M can’t take sides and won’t take sides. Cote said they did their part.

Shouldn’t assume, but I suspect it goes back to the Historic Track days.

Like others have mentioned, in the "old days" it was rare to involve authorities in a dispute. It got handled at the barns. I'm not saying that's tight and I sure agree with Mike that no one should live in fear of another person, but things sure have changed with social media. Everyone knows everyone else's business.

I agree with everything you said but we’re not in the old days. Like Cote said, just let them sue each other and let the courts handle it. The big m did their part and reports are filed and sent to the NJRC. Everyone can still call the police and file a report and let the courts decide. I will say this much. Dave Yarock was a pretty stand up guy until he started buying into Petrelli’s nonsense and vendetta against the Goshen guys. Not saying the Goshen guys are Saints because we all know they are trash. But Yarock has been around a long time and should know better then to buy into Petrellis bs. Just my opinion.
