I'm a huge Merriman fan he has drove many of my horses.  But if Wrenn ever decided to drive daily and the same full schedule as AARON I think Ronnie could give him a major run for the top spot in the country!!! I think both guys are hard workers and can keep horses alive

One of the reasons Aaron is top in the country is because of the huge drop off in drivers talent after Aaron, so Wren is exactly where here belongs. The one and only reason to use Wren is if Aaron already has one in a race.

To me Wrenn is just a notched above the other drivers except merriman. Merriman is just a notched down from his earlier days. He has won with a couple of my horses. I would consider using him again.

These guys are competing at a C track. That's a notch above Special Olympics.  ;D

Im not sure how you are calling Northfield a "c" track when they pay 2nd most purses a year in the United States.

I wouldn't consider it a c track but even if it was a Z track they make a lot more money in a year no wait a month than you do so maybe it isn't them we should be criticizing here. This is what's wrong with harness racing no matter what you do or how well people no wait JEALOUS people want to talk it down

Seriously, what does "2nd most purses in the U.S." mean ?

It means bad horses with bad drivers are racing for a lot of money. Glad I could help.

I thought it was something like that, thanks for the clarification. It my time, we referred tracks like Northfield, etc., to be Bull Rings.

Look at the driver colony at the Meadows, it's a joke. Palone, Merriman,Pants, Wilder then it starts to go downhill fast. Not a lot of talent to pull from local talent pool.
