Interesting drive for a 1-5 shot.

That's the issue I have and that race was clearly a watch only.  But at 1-5 and never put him in play.

Who says you have to bet a race where he looked like he was going to be a prohibitive favorite?

Many drivers just float land the 4 or 5 hole then come without abusing the horse.

The qua said he was ready, he took a lot of early action. Todd goes to front and Andrew ducks and doesnt remotely tr to improve his posiyion un 3/4s of the race is over.
Send Andrew back down under ,, just another criminal in the game.

Didn't bet, but a lot of people did.  That's the point.  It was a no try until the last 1/8 of a mile to pick up minor scraps.  Horse closed like an monster, probably wins if he's not taken out of the action from the gate.

go figure
anyone should have seen this was possible especially from that post
fyi, horse made up lots of ground but he was flat the last 1/16 of a mile
yes his qualifier was good but the first half fractions were super soft
bet him next week!!!

I think he will be a nice horse no question, but stakes caliber?  I'm not so sure about that.  And if he isn't a win the Open 10 times a year type horse, they way overpaid for him.

This was owner's statement in article, so who knows.  I'd guess in the $250k range at least.

“He was a rather large investment and I need to get him over here to evaluate whether he has stakes ability before February,” Poillucci said

She hasn't done to bad, who would ya give it to Burke? Just kidding. But why not?

Everyone must know she's got the good shit.  The girl that works for Takter has a horse with her.

Sure looks like a really nice horse!! Fits lots of conditions.  Who cares what he pays? It's his money. Looks like jealousy by many. Having Shartin filled a lifetime of dreams that all wished was them.

HOW COME THE JEALOUS ONES DON'T ASK WHAT HE PAID FOR HER?  WHY? BECAUSE HE DID; T PAY A LOT AND MADE MILLIONS.

I did wonder what he paid for Shartin, whatever it was he clearly made a nice piece.  I'm interested in what some of these imports cost.  I could care less what he spends his money on.  I love you assholes that think it's jealousy just because you are interested in what a horse costs.  Go suck a dick asshole.  Horse looked good last night, which proves the point that they fucked the public last week with a no try effort.  That's what qualifiers are for.  I'm aware the horse fits many classes, but you don't spend well over 6-figures to fit NW classes.  There are hopes of FFA stakes at that point.  If you don't like the discussion don't join in.

I asked that before and no one had an answer.  I'd love to know what went south.  They made a lot of money together and then just parted ways.
