SCM dodges a lot of what Calhoun has accused him of.  Sounds like an admission of guilt.  As for saving the horses.  That is admirable, my issue is with you taking on responsibility with no money and having to ask for handouts.  What if no one gives you anything, then what?  Horses are in the same situation they were just in.
