Monticello, NY — Monticello Raceway management announced today it is accepting stall applications from horsemen interested in stabling and racing at the track.

“With the influx of additional purse money that will be generated by Resort World’s new slot operation slated to open in Newburgh later this year, we anticipate more horses dropping in the box and this could be a great opportunity for a horseman looking to race both short- or long-term,” said Eric Warner, longtime Race Secretary.

You must be dreaming. They don’t even turn on lights in the parking lot and when they had slots those lights only went on Friday & Saturday nights. Never any salt on the ice during winter months and the giant holes will never be filled. Be careful when walking. Make sure you aren’t looking at your phone or you can be swallowed up.
