Atlee was probably nervous sitting behind the poor guy just hoping he doesn't go down. I used to drive a 14 year old that the trainer/owner tried twice to turn out for retirement. But the horse wasn't happy unless he was racing. He wasn't much count but he was easy to drive and sound. Im not sure thats the case with Al. He just doesn't look healthy

I don’t blame atlee. He said a few weeks ago that he wasn’t crazy about driving this horse. I would never sit in with a horse like this. Just to the outside and outta the way. Maybe dee will take a hint that the drivers are just trying to stay safe. Retire the animal or send him back to the kill pen to save him from this misery.
