Harness racing punters pulled off an almighty plunge at Globe Derby on Monday when pacer Giftedfromthehear t led throughout to take out race five on the card.

The Phillip Westbury-trained gelding opened at $101 with TAB but firmed all the way into $2.90 to start second-favourite behind Spearhead at $2.80.

There were no scratchings from the nine-horse field.
