Fentanyl positive at Rosecroft is only 30 days?  WTF?  Should be a year!

was just going to post about this

Fentanyl gets you 30 days ??  ngc3 ngc3

Oh -- I have no idea why there is a loss of interest in harness racing by customers who would wager on the product.

    Fentanyl??

This medication is used to help relieve severe ongoing pain (such as due to cancer).
   Analgesic Opioid Agonists
Fentanyl, also spelled fentanil, is an opioid used as a pain medication and together with other medications
for anesthesia. It is also used as a recreational drug,
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is 80-100 times stronger than morphine.
Because of its powerful opioid properties, Fentanyl is also diverted for abuse.
Clandestinely-produced fentanyl is primarily manufactured in Mexico.
Penalties for fentanyl and other controlled substances. –Mandatory three-year sentence for possession of
four or more grams of fentanyl and a mandatory 15-year sentence for possession of 14 or more grams

30 day suspension??? Close Rosecroft down now!

    Sincerely, Silent One

The story going around is that the groom was on fentanyl and he pissed in the stall. The horse ate the fentanyl-laced hay. Fine will be stayed upon further investigation

Correct, its Amicar. Heard they change labs and now picking up minute traces of a drug horseman have used over 72 hours out to train horses that receive lasix on raceday for 25 years, and its legal in Delaware. Complete ignorance on part of the NJ Racing Commission if they punish people for this. Even on the day you give it it is only good for 2 hours to think a minute trace over 72 hours later would effect anything is Total Ignorance!  I guess you could ask Bob Baffert about minute traces.
