The Senate also approved a bill that would allow jai alai frontons, dog tracks and a harness racing track in Miami-Dade and Broward counties to keep operating slots and card rooms without holding live events. Other pari-mutuels in the state would be able to continue operating card rooms without live events, with the exception of thoroughbred horse tracks, which would have to hold live racing.

Something needs to change, so why not start with throwing out some of the actors.

Harness racing has not even attempted to help harness racing, and in fact does everything it can to protect the status quo, despite that status being corruption.

The few good people will be the innocent victims, but there are FAR too many that don't deserve any protection and in fact deserve expulsion or prosecution.

I'll always have my memories of when racing was racing....so if the party is over, in some regards, good riddance.
