Washington Post numbers shows no cop killing spree

The WP came out with Police interactions for 2020.  50 million Police/Suspect interactions. 10 million arrests. Out of all that 18 unarmed black Americans fatally shot and 24 white Americans fatally shot. So this doesn't scream wild cop racist gun wielding must kill unarmed blacks. Of those 42 shot dead I wonder how many were under an influence, mental health issues, or just plain dumbasses that resisted an arrest? Doesn't take much to comply with an officer like the one who was getting cuffed in OH and then resisted out went into his car and was shot by the female officer...that would be putting your fate in someone else's hand instead of a car ride to the station and a night in the slammer before arraignment.

Cops kill 3 people every day in the U.S. on average.

It's been that level a long time. 

Also, blacks get killed by cops at higher than proportionate levels. That's not new either.

What's different is cell phones and body cams.

Also, I appreciate difficulty of policing but anyone entering that line of duty has to expect to be dealing with dysfunctional folks at times. That's the nature of the job. Having mental health issues, being under influence of booze/drugs or stupid shouldn't be an acceptable excuse for  needlessly killing folk.

Many people can be dirtied up after the fact. That shouldn't be justification for needless murders.Keep ur eyes on these videos - seeing is believing.
