 He was following the newly passed whipping rule that goes into effect on July 1. . Now the lines can't touch the horse or be used in the manner of a whip the last 1/8 of a mile.

Although that drive was literally a bit over the top he always drives that mare with his hands higher than normal.  As for her going to another barn no freaking way ...  She's a half sister to Parkers best horse ever .. he's not selling.
